Billing and Invoices

Your LawLytics Membership Fee

Your LawLytics membership fee is billed automatically each month. Payment of the membership fee is not contingent on your site being in a "launched" or "live" state. For details about our billing practices, see our Terms Of Service.

Updating Your LawLytics Billing Information

From the “Billing” menu you can see your current membership subscription plan, update your billing information, and access past invoices.

Access your billing information by hovering over your name in the top right corner. Click “Billing”.

Once you access the billing menu, you'll see your membership subscription plan, an option to update your credit card, and an option to update your billing address.

The membership subscription plan shows your current monthly plan and your monthly fee.

Below your membership subscription, you can update your credit card information.

On the right, you can update your billing address.

Remember: Click the green “Save” button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

Note: For security reasons, only the account owner can update billing information.

Invoices

The Invoices menu can be found on the left underneath "Billing." Here you can access your monthly invoices for the past year.

What happens if my credit card is expired or declined?

In the event that your card has expired or is declined, the LawLytics system will send you a notice. The notice will contain a link with instructions to update your card. You'll be taken to a secure payment update page. Our system handles unsuccessful charges as follows:

  • Your card is charged on the billing date. If the card is declined, you will receive an email notice asking you to update your card.
  • 5 days from the unsuccessful billing, the system will attempt to run your credit card again. If the attempt is not successful, you'll receive a second email notice.
  • 10 days from the first unsuccessful billing, the system will attempt to run your credit card again. If the attempt is not successful, you'll receive a third email notice.
  • 15 days from the first unsuccessful billing, the system will attempt to run your credit card one last time. If still unsuccessful, your account will be suspended immediately without further notice.

Note: If your account is suspended because of a credit card issue or non-payment, your LawLytics website(s) will be taken offline. This may result in your website being removed from the web and a loss in search engine rankings.

If your account is suspended, you will have to re-enter your credit card information at the LawLytics login screen. Your account and website(s) will be restored when your payment information is updated and your payment is received.

You will be responsible for paying for the 15 days of service prior to the account suspension, plus your membership subscription plan rate for the next 30 days. The day of the month that you restore your account will become your new monthly billing date going forward.

Note: Non-payment does not cancel your LawLytics membership. If you need to cancel your LawLytics membership please email us at  [email protected].

If you have additional questions about billing, email us at [email protected] or call us at (800) 713-0161 during our regular business hours.
