Office Locations

The LawLytics Control Panel allows you to easily add office locations and addresses. These locations will populate the Locations Index page, as well as your Contact page.

To add new office locations, navigate to the Office Locations tab in the LawLytics Control Panel. Hover over the Publish link in the blue menu at the top of your screen, and select “Offices” from the black menu underneath.

When you open the Offices tab, you’ll open a list of all your locations in the left sidebar and a unique editor on the right side.

If you have more than one office location, you can reorder them by clicking and dragging the locations in the sidebar. This will reorder the locations on your website(s) in real-time. The location at the top of the list in the LawLytics Control Panel corresponds to the first location on your Locations Index page. To add a new office, click the green “New” button on the top left, just above the sidebar. This will open up a blank editor on the right side.

Office Title

The Office Title field allows you to name your office. If you only have one office, you can use your firm name as the title (such as Sample Law & Associates, PC). If you have multiple offices, you may want to title them by location (such as Timonium Office, Annapolis Office, etc.).

Address

This field allows you to add your firm's address.

Note: Do not use a period with abbreviated street names. For example, if your address is 5050 Chance Avenue, do not add a period to the abbreviated “5050 Chance Ave.” Instead, use “5050 Chance Ave”. Do not add a period to other abbreviations including Road (Rd), Lane (Ln), Highway (Hwy), Drive (Dr).

When you have added an address in this section, it will also generate a Google Map of your location.

You’ll have to fill in both your Address, Address Line 2, City, State, and Zip Code. 

Phone and Fax Numbers

Add the phone and fax numbers for your office in this section. A phone number is required in order to add a new office location. 

Note: Include parenthesis, hyphens, and/or periods as you would like the information to appear on your site. Use the same configuration across all channels where you enter the phone number for the office location to ensure consistent NAP (name, address, and phone number) data everywhere that it appears online.

Office Hours

This section allows you to select and display your law firm's hours of operation. You can also choose “on-call” hours. These hours can be used when you are not in the office but reachable by phone or email.

About This Office

"About This Office" allows you to input any unique information about your firm's location. For example, if your firm is located on a street that's difficult to find, part of a large office complex, or requires validated parking, you may want to provide additional directions and information for your potential clients to help them find you. 

Publish To

This section allows you to choose which site(s) will feature your office location(s). Check the box next to the website(s) that should display your office location(s).

Display the Following Attorneys With This Office

You can choose to associate attorneys with an office. This will link the attorney’s bio to this office location, and this office location to the attorney’s bio.

Image(s)

You can display images with your office location. These are thumbnail images that appear on the Contact and Locations page, next to the map and address information. They can also show in the footer if you selected one to be reserved for contact information.

You can have multiple images associated with your Office Location.

Once you have created your office, click the green “Publish” button at the bottom of the page.

Editing Offices

To edit an office location, select it from the left sidebar and click "Edit". Be sure to click “Publish Changes” when you are finished editing.

If you have several offices, use the search function that allows you to filter by Office Name.

Deleting Offices

To delete an office, first select it from the left sidebar, click "Edit", then click "Delete" next to the Publish and Unpublish buttons.
