Downloading Images & Video from the Media Library

Not only can you upload images and videos to your LawLytics media library, but you can also download images and video files to your computer.

To access your Media Library, hover over the “Libraries” tab in the top toolbar of the LawLytics control panel. Select “Images and Videos.”
Select the file from the library that you'd like to download. Under "Download File," click “Open File in a New Tab.”
The file will then open in a separate web browser tab.
If the file is an image, right-click on the image and select "Save Image As." Your browser will then prompt you to save the image to your computer.
If the file is a PDF, Chrome and Firefox will open the document within your browser. Saving the document from this page will download it to your computer.
Documents other than PDFs will automatically download when opened in a new tab. Your browser will prompt you to save the file in a location of your choice.
If the file is audio or video, it will open in a new tab. Right-click on the video and select "Save Video As." Your browser will prompt you to download the file to your computer.

Accessing a URL from Media Library

When you open a file in a new tab, you can get the URL from the address bar at the top.
Here's an example of a URL:
For files that automatically download, such as Word documents, find the URL by right-clicking on the “Open File in New Tab” link and click “Copy Link Address.”
This will copy the link associated with the document. You may then paste it wherever you need. This works for all file types.
