Google AdWords

Google AdWords is Google’s online advertising service which allows businesses to compete for the display of relevant ad copy to web users.

To track conversions from your Google AdWords campaign, follow the instructions below.

Note: If you’re not sure how to implement conversion tracking, please contact LawLytics or give these instructions to your IT administrator. Attempting this yourself may cause website problems if the directions are not followed correctly.

  1. In the Google Adwords campaign, go to Tools > Conversions.
  2. Add a new conversion.
  3. Select "Website".
  4. Edit settings as necessary, then click "Save and continue".
  5. In the "Install your tag" section, uncollapse the settings and choose "Click".
  6. Copy the snippet of code.
  7. In your LawLytics control panel, paste the code into that site's "Custom Scripts Footer”.
  8. Under that, paste the following snippet:

</script>Upon form submission, you should see the success message in the console. You can also use the Google Tag Assistant to verify the conversion tracking is working.
  1. Note: Adwords may take several hours to verify the conversion.
